The Patio Heater

The Patio Heater

Patio Heaters are becoming very popular as we look to spend more time outside. They are used both domestically and in commercial environments like hotels and restaurants. The Infrared Patio Heater is fast becoming the most popular choice as over time design has been considered and companies like SOLAMAGIC® look to produce heaters that sit beautifully in our environment rather than have a negative impact on the environment due to a bulky, box like, over size eyesore being bolted to a wall !

Infra Red Patio Heater

The infrared patio heaters manufactured by SOLAMAGIC® are not only well considered from the design perspective but are also truly versatile. The range provides options for wall mounting, ceiling mounting, awning and parasol bracket options and free standing infrared heaters.

Infra Red Heater by Area covered

The area heated is dependent on the model and wattage and as you may already know if you have read our other pages on infrared the air itself is not heated, the infrared waves pass through the air and heat the bodies/objects they meet with.

The SOLAMAGIC® 500 for example will heat an area of 4 square meters
The SOLAMAGIC® 1000 will heat an area of 7 square meters
The SOLAMAGIC® 1400 will heat an area of 12 square meters
The SOLAMAGIC® 2000 will heat an area of 15 square meters
The SOLAMAGIC® 2800 will heat an area of 20 square meters
The SOLAMAGIC® 4000 will heat an area of 26 square meters

There are variations within the SOLAMAGIC® which will cover larger areas, commonly used for commercial purposes.

Garden Heater

The SOLAMAGIC® range are also used as Infrared Garden Heaters, again in both domestic and commercial situations. It would be unusual for an entire garden to require heat coverage, more common applications are for heating seating areas with the garden such as paved or decked areas. Gazebos can be heated with an Infrared garden heater, or work areas such as hobby sheds can have heat supplied via a SOLAMAGIC® infrared heater. The only necessity is a power supply.

In commercial situations such as large garden areas being used to cater to large parties the larger garden heaters such as the 4000 can be tripod mounted making them very mobile, or an alternative may be a number of SOLAMAGIC® Sundowners placed at intervals throughout the catering area, providing heated meeting areas and when constructed with tables in place, providing areas where guests can gather with drinks.
