Awning Frames

Awning Frames Awning Frames

All frames are manufactured from differing sized sections dependant upon your project and provide the structural strength for the awning installation.

They can also be used for free standing installations where there is no structure to attach an awning to on the building.

The special brackets from the Crocodilla™ range are designed to allow you to install your awning on single storey buildings or bungalows where there is little strength at the top of the wall. Awning frames are the next step in the system allowing installation where no central fixing is available or where large expanses of glass are evident, or possibly, as in lots of instances, no structure at all!

All frames are manufactured from either 60 x 40, 60 x 60, 80 x 80 or for free standing frames depending upon your application, they are made from either 80 x 80 or 100 x 100 mm section.
The sections we use have been rigorously tested to provide the structural strength for the awning installation, as well as undergoing climatic testing from an independant test house to ensure longevity of use.

Frames attached to building

The size of section is dependant upon the awning to be installed and the substrate to which is attached to ensure correct installation always submit the size of awning with your order.

For awnings up to 5 metres width and with projections of 3500

Then 60 x 40 sections will suffice especially suitable for cassette awnings where installation bracket siting is so vital.

For awnings OVER 5 metres width up to 7 metres widths and with projections of 3500

Then 60 x 60 sections will suffice especially suitable for cassette awnings where installation bracket siting is so vital.

For awnings with 4 metres projections or any awning with drop front valances

Then 80 x 80 sections will suffice especially suitable for cassette awnings where installation bracket siting is so vital.

What happens if my awning is larger than 7 metres?

Simple! We just add on a section or maybe another leg to suit the size of your awning, so size of product needn’t be a factor!
