Hinge Details
You must allow for at least 85mm above the gates and 35mm below the gates to allow for the top and bottom hinges.
The gates are hinged directly above and directly below the gates. (See Hinge Advice PDF for details).
Health & Safety / Warranty Details
All automatic gate and door systems installed in the UK must comply to BS-EN13241-1 EN-138491-1 safety standards. As suppliers & installers of automated gates we must comply to the current HSE law which governs us and which states that all electric gates must comply to current legislation.
- 2-years parts guarantee (subject to terms and conditions)
- 5-years colour and preservative guarantee
- 10-years aluminium frame painting (Qualicoat Certificate)
This European label allows a guarantee of 10 years lacquering and 5 years the constant colour of our aluminium gates. So you have the assurance that our lacquerer is a true professional, master of his technique and guarantor of a permanent quality assurance.
All swing and sliding, manual and motorised gates are designed and manufactured for your safety in compliance with the European standard NF EN 13241-1. CE conformity has been awarded following the performance of tests and provides the guarantee of quality of manufacture. We advise that the operation of the gates can be dangerous in windy conditions.
Any changes on the original product will void the warranty.
Automation
- Invisio – an integrated motor for swing gates with no visible mechanical arms. Highly adaptable to driveway conditions and intensive use.
- Epona – motor is integrated into the bottom crossbar of the gate, enabling a telescopic sliding opening.
- Underground Automation – the most popular type of automation system as there are no signs of any mechanisms, making it both aesthetically pleasing and practical.
